Singing Bear Music

b-35.jpgI have to say – all we have is faith. I want nothing more than to be sitting in the dirt weeding an organic garden with my family and friends close to me, and yet I sit here at the computer writing about the laws of nature, blogging is not what Wild Bears do. I am Native American, my ancestors, like yours and all of ours, once lived harmoniously with the earth and each other. Now where are we? What has become of Music and Celebration? Have you ever been to a festival where everyone is drunk and stoned and tripping and looking for their spirits and their souls and communion and then at then end, when everyone goes back to their day jobs, you look around and the place is TRASHED? We are really trashing our bodies and this world to have a good time. Now that doesn’t make sense. In fact it completely contradicts the laws of nature. That’s why most people are miserable, because we have this distorted notion that we need to trash our bodies to have a good time. “I’m going to get wasted!” Well then that’s what your life will be – WASTED!

I want people to see how precious this life is. I get high watching the waves crash and spending time with the birds and listening to the wind. I feel like I’m on a psychedelic journey when I drink some herbal tea and watch a magnificent sunset.

Yes it is hard – fighting the overwhelming current of ignorance and confusion. Yes it is painful watching kids teaching their kids how to trash themselves. Yes it is difficult when no-one responds to my reaching out – but you did, my friend. And that has made all the difference. So now I know, I will keep trying to reach out. Check out this video I did – I will keep trying to reach you!
