Hi,

If you didn’t already know, every day, Cafe Gratitude, based in the bay area, lists their daily questions of the day.  We are playing at one of the cafes on Sunday the 20th .. see shows below.  Anyway, Cafe Gratitude’s revolutionary Qs of the day always follow a similar layout.  The first question is designed to get us to face something that may be challenging in our lives and the second question is designed to uplift our minds and spirits about our lives.

Today’s questions of
the day are

1. What challenge can you see as an opportunity?
and
2. What can you give away today?

Here are my answers.

1. Promoting my music is such a challenge and a risk.  I am often putting all of my time and resources into this mission just to get it out there, just to uplift one more soul with a song.  My life was saved by music when I was 18 years old, and I just want to return the favor.  But often times, I am faced with a giant uphill climb when it comes to promotion, emailing, booking, managing, and getting my music heard by the world.  While this is a challenge, it is also an opportunity for me to ask for help.  In our current economic and social mess, we are called to join as communities and families to support each other to grow and prosper together.  More and more, we are lifting our communities from the shackles of corporate America and liberating ourselves with each other’s support. The challenge now is to continue to believe in our own value in this world. For me it is this music and the message, that people will continue to accept it and honor it and grow with it.
